Proving the existence of 2D universes

We live in a 3 dimensional physical universe, so this begs the question where is a 2d universe?
First we need to understand that a universe is creation, and when talking about 2d creation, there are plenty, movie reels, comic book pages, pixels on a screen are all examples of 2 d surfaces where creation unfolds. Stretching from a diverse universe like that of Marvel or dc to a simple story like that of a movie to a simple drawing like that of a sunflower.
It is us , 3d beings creating things in a 2d universe where the laws of physics and maths can be whatever we choose to be. 
The might occur a question as to why does a 2d universe doesn't exist naturally? Well 
That's a duality we create, considering whatever occurs without human intervention as natural and everything man made as unnatural
But the understanding cannot be transposed to a cosmic scale, since we are natural products of nature essentially whatever we create be it a plastic packet or a complex architecture, they are as Natural as grass or soil .
We are essentially the gods and creators of these universes/stories. 
So yes 2D universes exist, created by us or created by our creator through us.
Most characters remain unaware of our presence and we can interact with them , while their free will is subject to our control. 
In these 2D universes, the flipping of pages, or a rotating movie reel can be understood as the 3rd dimension or time. 
So yes the movies you see or stories you read are essentially universes of their own , some connected and some unique.
Starting from simple stories to whole multiverses can exist in these 2dimensions of a canvas.
